Pollitically Corrects

Politically Corrected
Exhibition of drawings
by Ertunç Sali
Gallery 7, Skopje

Politically correct are the youth in Skopje. They follow the example of the older generation, where they became familiar with the different definitions of ethics and morality. Ignorance and the complete lack of communication between differences circulate as political correctness.
In the difficulties of understanding the other, it is always easier to stay silent, so as not to accidentally start another military intervention. Silence is a temporary solution, seemingly successful. After long practice, silence manages to impose itself on a wider aspect of everyday life. It becomes a recognizable cultural segment with a constitutive character.
The drawings are an illustration of different postures for silence and can serve as a guide for its successful use.
